Hear from founders of creative collectives, Garick Bay & Ronald Low on their business models and scaling challenges. Rounding out the panel is legal expert Jeffrey Lim who will be speaking on contracting & intellectual property considerations when you team up with other freelancers for business opportunities. This fireside chat will be hosted by the ineffable Laura Kee, Laura Kee, actress, presenter, voiceover artist who has been active in her advocacy for actors in Singapore through her role in The Actors’ Society.

Garick Bay, Bespoke Foundry

Garick is an engineer turned photographer and has been a full-time photographer since 2011. He established Bespoke Foundry in 2015 and is part of the executive committee of VICPA.

Ronald Low, Istoria Collective Singapore Pte Ltd

Photographer and videographer, He currently manages Istoria Collective Singapore Pte Ltd after Istoria Co-operative was dissolved. Beyond teaching photography & videography at schools and whatever else that comes along that pays , he is also working on 2 new projects:

Jeffrey Lim, Co-Managing Director, Joyce A. Tan & Partners LLC

Jeffrey Lim is a TMT and IP lawyer who specializes Information Technology, data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data governance, and IT procurement and regulatory clearance.

Moderator, Laura Kee

Laura Kee is an actress, presenter and voiceover artist, and has worked in Singapore’s media industry since 2008. Her acting career spans television, film, theatre, corporate videos and commercials. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Arts & Cultural Leadership from Lasalle College of the Arts, and her interests lie in advocacy for media workers and the recognition of the precarity of creative labour. Laura is part of The Actors’ Society, which seeks to advance the welfare of Singapore actors. She is also a branch official for the Creative Content Branch of the Visual, Audio, Creative Content Professionals Association (Singapore).
